How are my fellow friends and family?!
All I can say is wow! And how grateful I am to know that God has Restored Truth to the Earth and has called a Prophet and Apostles on the earth today. Conference was absolutely amazing. I learned so much and am still learning from the last couple of days. It's amazing how much you learn from General Conference when you PREPARE for it. That is something I really have learned. I have had 3 General conferences on my mission.
The first one, it was like any other conference cause I was fresh in the MTC. NOT PREPARED.
The second, the most excited I've ever been for conference, thought I would understand a lot more because I was out on my mission for 6 months. semi prepared. Could have done better. I still learned loads from that conference.
Third conference yesterday, I learned so much! I actually prepared for it, and prayed hard for it, and pretty much just humbled myself before watching and listening. I have never felt the spirit so strongly during a conference session. I had questions that needed to be answered, I needed help spiritually, and needed some BOLD directions. I put effort into writing down effective notes, so that's always good.
Conference did everything for me! My heart was and IS still so full. I still have the "burning in the bosom" feeling. I'm still pondering it so much. I hope in continues till the next conference. I've learned that preparation for wonderful events like listening to Prophets of God, will benefit not only at the moment of listening to them, but forever, obviously, but by preparation such as coming in with virtuous thought, words, deeds, actions, etc.. will invite the spirit so much stronger, and that will allow us to receive revelation, direction, hope,peace, faith, confidence, happiness, etc...so many things, but to just bring everything that I said together I can just say, my testimony is strengthened, and I don't have a doubt in my mind that this is true. I am so grateful that we have a living prophet on earth. How blessed we are to be living in the dispensation. Holy cow. Take a step back in your lives and think...We have a Moses on earth right now, haha its so cool. God is amazing.
Anyways, I sure love all of you. This week was wonderful, we had many miracles happen! We found 4 more people to teach! So i know they will accept the gospel! I know they will! Next week I'll be telling you all when they will make the covenant. ;)
Random story explaining the pictures.
-So Elder Jarman and I got a letter while we were having comp study. We were good missionaries and finished studying before we ran up to the letter to see who it was for. So after studying we picked up the letter and it was to BOTH of us! From Sister Wyatte and Sister Diondra Ensign! Ha ha, so sister Wyatte and Jarman dated back at home and they are writing each other...cute.
Diondra and I are writing each other occasionally, not relationship kind of thing. Maybe one day tho ;) So we took a couple of pics and we thought it was pretty funny. It turns out that sister wyatte and Ensign are serving with each other in Austrailia, or still at the MTC, I cant remember, but how insane is that!!! It's a sign from GOD. Ha ha just playin.
